Patients attend unhappy that spaces have appeared between their teeth. It is an in indication of an underlying problem with the bone and tissues that hold the teeth in place and a need for an x-ray and carefull cleaning by the dentist or hygienist is strongly advised.
When this is has been carried out it is possible to use cosmetic bonding to carefully increase the width of the teeth on either side of the space to disguise the space.
In an effort to prevent further drifting, along with regular reviews of oral hygiene, we attach a fixed retainer on the inside of the teeth where possible. Click on 2 to see this.
